When becoming a licensed Connecticut real estate salesperson a new candidate is required to attend 60 hours of classroom study from an approved CT real estate school.  Once a candidate's attendance requirement is met candidates must pass a test given by the real estate school in order to qualify for the CT real estate exam.

After passing the state exam, new licensees are then required to affiliate with a Connecticut real estate broker and can be issued a real estate salespersons license.
